Alhambra Decree — Expulsion of Jews from Spain

King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella signed a decree expelling all Jews from Spain (March 31, 1492). The Alhambra Decree led to the exile of approximately 200,000 Jews, ending centuries of Jewish life on the Iberian Peninsula.
