Rav Shimshon Dovid Pincus (1944-2001), rabbi of Ofakim in the Negev. A beloved teacher and prolific author, he moved to Ofakim at the request of the Steipler Gaon and Rav Shach to serve as the spiritual leader of the community. His many published lectures and works on tefillah, emunah, and the Jewish holidays have inspired thousands.
