Rav Yaakov Tzvi Mecklenberg

Rav Yaakov Tzvi Mecklenberg (d. 1865), author of HaKesav VeHaKabbalah, a major commentary on the Torah that systematically demonstrates how the Oral Torah's interpretations are encoded in the precise language and grammar of the Written Torah. He served as Chief Rabbi of Koenigsberg.
