Rav Yosef Rosen of Dvinsk

The Rogatchover Gaon, author of Tzofnas Paneach (1858-1936). At his bar mitzvah, his father brought him to the Beis Halevi in Slutzk, where he learned together with the young Rav Chaim Soloveitchik for an entire year. In 1891, he became Rav of Dvinsk, a position he held until his death.
