Sister

ארור שכב עם אחתו בת אביו או בת אמו ואמר כל העם אמן

Cursed be the one who lies with his sister, whether daughter of his father or of his mother.—And all the people shall say, Amen.

ותתצב אחתו מרחק לדעה מה יעשה לו

And his sister stationed herself at a distance, to learn what would befall him.

ותאמר אחתו אל בת פרעה האלך וקראתי לך אשה מינקת מן העברית ותינק לך את הילד

Then his sister said to Pharaoh’s daughter, “Shall I go and get you a Hebrew nurse to suckle the child for you?”
