To think how many prayers have been poured out before this wall. Before I made Aliyah to Israel, I had actually never stepped foot in the land of Israel. And so, I did not feel like I could accurately attempt to capture the energy of the Western Wall until I could experience prayer there in person. This series of paintings is my attempt to connect to the concept of prayer at the Kotel through my art on a more personal level. I hope the unique perspective of these paintings  transport the viewer to be standing before one of the holiest places in the world, looking up with an open heart towards the Heavens from below.
